2010 Polish Baha’i Summer School

Welcome to the 20th Polish Baha’i Summer School, which this year invites
everyone:

To a wonderful programme of lectures and workshops
To a beautiful place in the heart of Warmia
For a cheerful and artistic evening programme

Dates: We will be waiting for you from the 2nd July (Friday) afternoon, we start with a supper. We will be saying farewell on the 7th July (Wednesday) after lunch.

Accommodation: This year the summer school will take place by the Bęskie Lake, 50 km
north of Olsztyn. Prices and the room types are the following:

A A double room with a bathroom ca. 22 EUR/adult,ca. 17 EUR/child
B A studio type room with a bathroom (2 + 4) ca. 22 EUR/adult,ca. 17 EUR/child
C A room with 3 beds, a bathroom in the hallway *ca. 15 EUR/person * limited number of places

If you take half portion meals, the price for children will be ca. 15 EUR/night.

Meals: Breakfast, lunch and supper – included in accommodation price. Meals for children up to 16 years of age – you can order half portions (please indicate in “special needs”).

Attractions: The centre provides to its guests, free of charge: a full-sized football field (grass), volleyball courts, television room, a café with ping-pong table, billiard and other games, a beach with a lifeguard, a gym – 2h per person during a stay, mountain bikes – 2h per person during a stay, kayaks – 2h per person during a stay. Apart from the above, the centre organizes open carriage and wagon horse rides, bonfires with sausages and discotheques.

Programme

Presentations and workshops will revolve around the themes:
The current 5 year plan of the Universal House of Justice.
Education of children and youth.
Prayer and personal spiritual development.

There will be a programme for kids and youth but please help us with looking after the children (especially while playing outside). Providing education to children is the “most sacred duty” but also joy and satisfaction!
