COMMUNITY BUILDING, or Strengthening Groups
Saturday 17th May 2008, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Liverpool Baha’i Centre.
A day course by Thomas Rowan, who has spent almost all of his Baha’i life as a pioneer in Africa and South America, where he has been offering courses on community building after serving in Columbia.
The course is arts based.
Session 1 Presentations looking at weaknesses in the community, using Baha’i writings to transform them into strengths. Living sculpture
Session 2. The Path strewn with obstacles, finding ways to use the obstacles as springboards for the community. Power Point, Living sculpture.
Session 3.Looking at and employing the art of consultation
Final Evaluation, follow up in our communities, families, work school etc.
