Norwegian Winter School 2009

The Norwegian winter school is this year held at Beitostølen (high mountain hotel) starting on Sunday December 27 and ending on Friday January 1. The main speaker will be Continental Counsellor Mr. Sohrab Yousefian.

Danish Summer School 2009

Danish Summer School 2009 wil be held on the island of Bornholm.

Dates: 2-9 August, 2009.

Bornholm is a beautiful island in the middle of the Baltic Sea. The island attracts thousands of tourists every summer due to its lovely and interesting nature with sandy beaches and rock formations.

Swedish Summer School 2009

Welcome to the Swedish Bahá’í Summer School 2009 – July 8th-12th!

The peaceful and refreshing scenery of southern Sweden welcomes you, once again, to a Bahá’í Summer School worth remembering. This will follow up the same event held last year, where 350 participants were gathered and inspired by useful workshops, beautiful surroundings and insightful speeches held by Dr. Firaydoun Javaheri and Dr. Sepideh Taheri.

The main speakers this year will be Mr. Ali Nakhjavani, former member of the Universal House of Justice, and Mrs. Violette Nakhjavani, who had the privilege of travelling with Rúhíyyih Khánum during her journeys around the globe.

Viking Youth Conference (Sweden)

Vikings conference – The Nordic Bahá’í Youth Conference – April 2009

This years conference will be held in Enköping, Sweden, so stay tuned and reserve Easter weekend 9-13.4.2009 from your calendars.

The theme will be “Preparing Body, Mind and Soul for Service to Mankind”, and we will have a whole host of great workshops and other programs for you to enjoy.

Icelandic Summer School 2009

Dates: August 5th – 9th 2009

The location is going to be in Reykjaskoli school at the bottom of Hrutafjordur. It is about half way between Reykjavík, the capital of Iceland and Akureyri, the biggest town in the north.

The summer school would begin with some evening programme on the 5th and end just after lunch time on the 9th.

Icelandic Summer School 2008

Welcome to the Icelandic Bahá’í summer school!

This year’s summer school will be held from 5th – 10th August 2008 at the country school of Hlidardalur – only 30 min. from the capital city Reykjavik. The main speaker will be Mr. Ian Semple, former member of the Universal House of Justice.

Iceland, the land of fire and ice, is not only closer than you think, but far different than you ever imagined. Where else can you find spouting geysers and magnificent waterfalls just around the corner of your summer school? Not to worry, summers in Iceland are surprisingly warm and daylight 24 hours.
